Meet Our Doctor

        Dr. Gene Rohacz, D.P.M., F.A.C.L.E.S.
                                    Fellow, American Board of Lower Extremity Surgery

    Dr. Gene Rohacz, received his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from the William Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in 1992.  He served his podiatric-surgical residency at the Hunter Holmes-McGuire VAMC in Richmond, VA.  Dr. Rohacz received a patient's letter of praise for outstanding service from the VA's newsletter.  Dr. Rohacz is licensed in the state of Michigan.  Dr. Rohacz is board certified by the American College of Lower Extremity Surgeons.  Dr. Rohacz is also on staff at Hillsdale Community Health Center.  
    Dr. Rohacz has served as treasurer and secreatary of the Southern Division of the Michigan Podiatric Medical Association.  Dr. Rohacz has been involved in the Cascades Exchange Club and has served as president, vice-president, and board member.  Dr. Gene has also recieved "Exchangite of the Year" award for his service and dedication to the club. 
    In the community, Dr. Gene Rohacz has volunteered his services at St.Peter's Free Health Clinic.  Dr. Rohacz has received the Hillsdale Daily New's "People Choice Award" multiple years.  Dr. Rohacz is also been involved in shoe drives both on the local and national level.  In fact, Dr. Rohacz has helped organize and dispence over$15,000.00 in free shoes for the homeless in southern Michigan. 
    Dr. Rohacz also holds a black belt in Isshinryu Karate under Seisan Keith Bice at Spirit Martial Arts in Parma, MI. Under the guideness of Master Bice, he finished in the top ten for hand forms in 2005 in the PKC.
